This is a popular take out dish in Scotland, usually served with pitta bread and salad cabbage.
Ingredients
- Bread pan/tin
- 400g ground/minced lamb
- 2 gloves of garlic crushed or 2 teaspoons of garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Pre heat the oven 380f
Now let’s cook
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients using your hands until fully combined.
Place the mixture into the bread tin cook for 20/25 minutes
Let cool for a few minutes slice thinly
Tip; serve with pitta bread and thinly sliced cabbage or coleslaw mix tossed in olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste
